Under the weather? Your tips?

Unfortunately, I am sick as a dog. Yesterday, T was taking care of me (he is sweet like that and I was not functional) and ran out to Pacific Cafe and picked up some Pho Ga, which was delicious and helpful. The salty broth was soothing to my icky throat and the heat helped with the congestion.

Pho is on the top of my list, but help me out here. What are the foods that make you feel better?

My favorite food for feeling under the weather: NyQuil. And lots of it.

Jello, saltines, and Vernors ginger ale.

My homemade chicken dumpling soup. And other hearty, cold weather soup/stews. Chili! But really chicken soup.

Tom Ka Gai - there's something about that spicy, tangy warmth that I find entirely fortifying. And delicious.

Either homemade chicken soup, or a steaming bowl of pho from Four Sisters in East Falls Church.

I wonder if they can make NyQuil Pho?

I love Vernor's Ginger Ale. A friend always has it at her house and for years, Icould not sip it without choking on the extreme bubbliness of it. Now, I've got it down.

Rebecca- where do I find Tom Ka Gai that is yummy? -J

When I feel rotten, I (or I send my honey!) go to Celebrity Delly in Cabin John for the best Motzah Ball Soup. They have it in large containers so you can take it home, warm it up & get right back into bed!
